Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Head Coach Igor Tudor has left the club with immediate effect following a mutual agreement.
The North London side announced the development in an official statement posted on their X handle on Sunday, bringing an abrupt end to Tudor’s brief six-week spell in charge.
The club said, “We can confirm that it has been mutually agreed for Head Coach Igor Tudor to leave the Club with immediate effect.”
Tottenham also confirmed the departure of two members of Tudor’s backroom staff, Tomislav Rogic and Riccardo Ragnacci, who served as Goalkeeping Coach and Physical Coach respectively.
According to the statement, “Tomislav Rogic and Riccardo Ragnacci have also left their respective roles of Goalkeeping Coach and Physical Coach.”
The club expressed appreciation for the efforts of the departing coaching team despite their short tenure, noting their commitment during the period.
“We thank Igor, Tomislav and Riccardo for their efforts during the past six weeks, in which they worked tirelessly,” Tottenham said.
Spurs also extended their support to Tudor following a recent personal loss, adding, “We also acknowledge the bereavement that Igor has recently suffered and send our support to him and his family at this difficult time.”
The club confirmed that the process of appointing a new Head Coach is underway and assured supporters that further updates will be communicated in due course.
“An update on a new Head Coach will be provided in due course.”
