Excerpt: Ola Aina says the Super Eagles have a fantastic squad with enough depth to cover injuries and remain confident.

Super Eagles defender Ola Aina, who plays as a full back for Premier League side Nottingham Forest, has said the national team has the depth and quality to handle injury setbacks as they prepare for upcoming fixtures.

Speaking in an interview with ARISE News, Aina gave assurances about the condition of his teammates while stressing the ability of the squad to step up when needed.

“I’m for sure Mr Waba Lee will be fine. And for Victor, it was unfortunate that he hurt himself, but we’ve got a fantastic squad and if someone cannot play, someone else will step in and do the job. So I’m confident in that,” Aina said.

The Nottingham Forest player emphasised that the Super Eagles have capable replacements across positions and can rely on the collective strength of the team in moments of difficulty.
