Manchester City have extended their kit partnership with Puma in a record-breaking long-term deal reportedly worth £1 billion, setting a new Premier League benchmark.
Manchester City on Tuesday confirmed the extension of their kit deal with Puma in what British media reports have described as the largest agreement of its kind in Premier League history.
According to the reports, the new contract will run for at least 10 more years and is valued at £100 million annually, totalling around £1 billion ($1.35 billion). This surpasses the club’s previous agreement with the German sportswear giant, signed in 2019, which was worth £65 million per year.
The renewed partnership is expected to outpace Manchester United’s £900 million 10-year deal with Adidas, which was signed in 2023, making City’s new deal the most lucrative kit manufacturer agreement among English clubs.
Manchester City have dominated English football in recent years, clinching four consecutive Premier League titles since 2020 and achieving a historic treble in the 2022–23 season. Despite their recent success, the club finished the last campaign without a major trophy.
City are set to kick off their 2025–26 Premier League season on 16 August with an away match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
