Turkish Airlines and Air Peace have signed a bilateral interline agreement aimed at enhancing connectivity between Nigeria, West and Central Africa, Türkiye, and the wider global aviation network.

The agreement allows passengers of both airlines to travel seamlessly on a single ticket across selected routes, with coordinated schedules and simplified baggage handling, significantly improving travel convenience.

Under the arrangement, Turkish Airlines passengers arriving in Lagos can easily connect to Air Peace’s domestic and regional network across Nigeria and West Africa. In turn, Air Peace passengers gain access to Turkish Airlines’ extensive global route network via Istanbul, a major international aviation hub linking Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas.

The partnership is expected to strengthen travel options between Nigeria and Türkiye, while also unlocking new opportunities for trade, tourism, and economic integration across regions.

Speaking on the development, Dr. Özlem Özyön of Turkish Airlines said the agreement reflects the airline’s commitment to expanding its African footprint by combining global reach with strong regional connectivity.

Similarly, Air Peace’s Chief Commercial Officer, Nowel Ngala, described the deal as a strategic milestone in positioning Nigeria as a key aviation gateway, noting that it offers passengers more flexibility, reduced travel complexity, and broader destination choices.

Turkish Airlines operates widebody aircraft on its Lagos route, offering premium onboard services, while Air Peace continues to expand its fleet and route network across Africa and international destinations.

The interline tickets are available via both airlines’ booking platforms and accredited travel agents.
